Thanks Jay, it's always a blast up there. You never know how the fishing is going to be. A couple of years ago the perch were insane yet not a herring to be found. My goal this year is 1 keeper walleye, I don't think that's too much to ask.
As far as that smelt, I really can't remember who caught it and why it ended up in the photo. It might have something to do with the beverages they were serving that day

Just a picture of a days catch for me and my group of guys from work, we caught these in Callander Bay when ice fishing a while back, the red object in the photo is a deck of cards for size reference, and yes the fish tasted great.
