Haven't been to Trenton lately but further down the bay the ice was good except for high current areas last weekend. I'd expect the same this weekend.

Ice is a concern but slush or deep snow made it very hard for the walker to walk

Take a spud bar, lots of pressure cracks stay with the crowds ice is changing daily right now with lots of current in the bay from the recent dump of snow and today’s thaw.

Just came off the ice in trenton.. at least 12" everywhere I drilled.. bare patches of ice with a few drifts.. seemed like good black ice to me..

How was the walk from the Centennial Park to the channel?
Need cleats or lots of slush?
Thanks again!
