I wish I knew about the rent option in Keswick earlier. I really want to buy one but I've wanted to try it first.
I'm wondering if it will pull me out on the bog by my place. It's a floating bog but you can walk on it. It's a good 150m walk through it to get on to the lake and the walk gets tiring when you are hauling gear with you.

If you can walk across it I suspect it will go over the bog. Now if it gets stuck and breaks through it could be a rough recovery.
