When I posted reports in July there was much response from folks that were soon to be headed up for their annual trips. Most promised reports upon their return. Would still love to hear how they did.
Have yet to see any postings. Still trying to re-live my awesome trip up there!
It's not too late. Post em if you got em! Somebody must have caught something?

Well I'll give you a bit of a story of how the trip went for the wife and myself. Started out by stubbing my toe and almost shearing the nail off on my big toe Friday morning at 5 am at home loading stuff, got to fishontario on the 400 and my sandel fell apart walking into Timmy's. Got to his trailer and found that the power was out for a couple of days but the two dozen worms in the fridge made their presence known as soon as we opened the door. Finally after a couple of texts and phone calls and tinkering we got the power back on but it only lasted a couple of hours and it stopped, went out fishing that night and did okay, came back to BBQ and the tank had been left on and so had the burner switch so no BBQ,, went to visit a friend near the town of nippising and the garbage bag in the back of my truck came untied and garbage started to blow out so I pull over to pick it up and the truck sinks into the soft shoulderand I lose the front end and rear driver side wheel is 10 inches of the ground, call wife and after joining caa really quickly two hours later a tow truck shows up, the sun was really hot that day and my hat was in the truck which was about to roll in to the ditch so getting it would not be in my best intrest at this point, any how got out and headed back to the trailer a little more humbled and went out fishing, we did pretty well with the pickys and she got a couple of 5 pound plus sheepshead on the ultra light. Turns out the trailer was struck by lightning and cooked the inverter, got home in one piece, now just waiting for my new boat to be built and hopefully will get back up to try it all again that is if mercury can get me a motor for my boat!

Yeah there were a few more things that added problems to the trip but I could not type all of it and you had to be there to believe it, anyhow no damage done to the truck and nobody got hurt so that was the important part and the fishing was great and the wife agreed to let me look a bigger boat for our adventures. Even that has been causing issues in the fact that I traded my boat in at the dealer on Friday aug 10 and ordered the new one with all the options that would be useful to us and they end up selling my boat aug 13 and 5 hours after my boat is sold they tell me that I can't get the motor I want till dec 4, any how we got it all straightened out and the new boat will or should be ready by oct 6. Keeping my fingers crossed.
