Parr Trout Group: Members Posts: 90 Member No.: 4980 Joined: December 10, 2013	Never good ice on erie ,go with someone and use proper gear.watch crossing cracks .there is always big pressure cracks and shove ice.Takes allot of effort to get too 45 ft if you can get out that far.

Parr Trout Group: Members Posts: 90 Member No.: 4980 Joined: December 10, 2013	I went out at bbc the shove ice started at 30 ft so i fished in 35 and did ok, was slow until 11 then was good for a hour,then the wind forced me off.
