Yeah got spoiled catching on jigs not having to buy minnows, but two days of of no hits might have to consider busting out the old minnow bucket again! If I could just catch live gobies like I was perching in the fall...

They never went out of style for me been using them 30 plus years. My father taught me when I barley outta diapers, set up is definitely critical. Simcoe said calls it my Neil Pert set up!!!

Thanks guys I know you cant release live gobies, apparently some people dont take jokes well. The whitefish are full of gobies. There are millions of gobies down there. I'm sure the regulation restricting thier live release will eradicate them though lol! The whitefish are the only thing killing them in numbers.

It's not live release that is the issue it is that they aren't allowed to be used as bait. Using them as bait would encourage people to potentially introduce them to new waterways. No one expects that catch and kill will do anything to the gobie population at this point.
