Just curious Shank, how were you losing them? Jumpers or just coming unbuttoned? Maybe hook lag from all the xmas celebrating?

yes, we were in a boat


one bit me off and the rest just unbuttoned, no jumpers, 33-34 degrees, they usually a bit sluggish

I'm guessing skunk pattern quik/flatfish? i have had some luck on the river with those.
