Only 4 more days until the canal tournament. It's in a pretty weird tournament every single time somebody cancels in a message I get another message from somebody who wants on the waiting list it's been like that for over a week. It is a good thing as I appreciate the notice so that no one misses out. In saying that it's definitely going to be a full field and busy so please everyone get there early for the launch.
I've been asked that we respect the 10K limit in the channel even just outside of it as it will be early and I don't want to get any complaints from the locals. With this I will reiterate BE THERE EARLY nothing slows things down like a 10K Zone

Had a great turn out today. I don't know who won yet as something came up and I had to go. But I just want to take this time to thank all of the teams who stepped up and helped out.
I didn't do that well in terms of fishing today. I only caught two fish but still had an amazing day. The group of guys in this series are absolutely phenomenal. Everyone is always there to help and lend a helping hand at 1 any given moment. Special shout outs today go to Team The Castaways for helping me launch my boat and not do anything stupid in the morning. Team Lillie loves skunks for helping me with registration and last but not least team gottafish for helping me with the weigh in.
This tournament series means a lot to me and I wouldn't be able to do it without such guys like yourselves willing to step in and make sure it's running as smoothly as possible.

Bassin assassins had a slow day until rain hit. Caught alot of 11 3/4 fish. Our biggest was 2.9lbs. The weeds were so thick my trolling motor couldnt cut through them. Thanks to matt for putting on another great tournament.
