Yesterday seemed like a good day to test the Kayak on the soft water and hit a local Lake Ontario area for some Pike with a buddy (Steve Collins) from the Kawartha Kayak Fishing Club.

We launched around 815am & the sun shining down on us. Found water temps were cold @ 35F. Marked Fishing and Managed one Pike.

Was good to get out. Fishing should pick up with some warmer temps coming.

Haha great job getting out while it’s still march!
I still have a few more weeks of ice fishing left to do.

It is nice to see fresh 2019 yak fishing photos from Ontario. It means - Winter is OOOVER.
