I think i got my first river brown. I'm pretty sure its not a rainbow. At first i thought it was an atlantic. after thinkin about its spots i went with a brown. Correct me if i am wrong.

Yea the not "brown" colour threw me off. It actually had a beautiful purple tinge to it in the water. I thought it was a bow until i netted it. Then i didnt know what i had.

the silvery browns with that purple hue are my hands down favorites! So beautiful. Great catch there sniperlee, congrats.

Seems to me the really beautiful browns come more from small creeks and rivers inland rather than browns that run the great lakes and come inland to feed and or spawn
