Great video If you don’t mind me asking, what rod were you using ? Cheers Kerry
Hey Chevy!
I am using a Berkley amp 32 inch medium heavy rod as well as a Fenwick elite tech 38 medium heavy. Personally, I think the Berkley rod is slightly too stiff for a 1/2 oz meegs ... a slightly lighter blank like a medium or just a longer medium heavy would likely be better...
on the other hand, the Fenwick 38 m/h is basically perfect for a 1/2 oz meegs. the 36 inch medium Fenwick elite tech would be an awesome rod to use with the Meegs as well.

I would not put lead in my mouth
its probably not the best thing for ya, agreed. But lets be real... if I asked if you've ever put a split shot on your line with your teeth, you'd probably say yes... LOL this doesn't justify my situation at all, but with such short term exposure, i like to think the effects are negligible. I agree with you though.
