I’m looking at pulling the boat out in 2 weeks or so... just wondering who is already itching for softwater and is getting prepped up?

I’m building my list of things to do... anything to add?

1. Test all batteries and replace if need be
2. Empty out all compartments and open to air out
3. Vacuum, sweep, swab the decks! Lol
4. Muff the motor and test
5. Wash and polish exterior
6. Fix trolling motor mount
7. Install LEDs bought last year
8. Install high speed transducer
9. Replace lost barring buddy
10. Properly mount onboard chargers
11. Wash out livewells
12. Organize tackle (and try to keep things organized) lol
13. Clean and lube reels/replace line
14. Install camera mounts
15. Check all wiring
16. Test safety items

I’m sure I’ll be adding 20 more, and many are specific to me, but anyone have any obvious ones I’m forgetting?

Excited to get back on the water! Spring is here!!!
😁😁😁

I’ll be getting mine out of storage in a few weeks also. I will have nothing to do to it. I do all of the required maintenance at the end of the season before I put it away for the winter. It’s always nice to just jump in and fish in the spring.

A few more for your list

- Clean and repack wheel bearings
- put drain plug back in boat
- check air pressure in trailer tires
- check tires for tread wear and cracks
- check tie down and wench cords/straps for wear, replace if required

If I had it my way the boat would be out year round. Usually around this time I pull mine out of my workshop up the road and bring it down to my house garage, kicking the wife’s car out for a few weeks . That’s where I do any new installations, double check all connections and bolts/screws etc. and load up gear, and sometimes just sit out there in the evenings and take in the boat smell! The way things are going weather wise this year, I’m gonna wait a couple more weeks at least before I tow it down to the house. I don’t have much new stuff to install this year, so it’s just a cleaning, loading, and we’re good to go.
Now go away ice!!!

Just got mine back from service this morning. Everything's ready to go except for putting all my fishing gear into the bed of the truck. 2 weeks from tomorrow, I'm towing it down to Tampa to get an early start on the year!!

Mine is ready but I do have some projects to do also.

Found out the air compressor on Opti’s have a filter in line with the water cooling line to the air compressor. It needed to be checked and cleaned so I did that. Replaced my air filter. It looked terrible. I have to completely rewrite my trailer just do to the wires being old and cracked. I had issue with intermitant tail light outages last year. I found a bad connector in the harness with the help of my electrician friend. It will all be replaced shortly. Going waterproof LED anyway so way better and brighter.

My boat technically is never in storage completely. I had in out in January.

Hey Mean Jean nice boat. Are you pulling that with an Envoy? If so and it a Denali I own an OEM compressor and load leveling sensors as I used to have a Envoy Denali. I only say this as they are a rip off to replace if you have to.

Going to pull the cover off mine and see what it needs. Still a real big chance of a good dumping of the white stuff till mid April.

But seriously,.... SHHHHH! She's sleeping in the garage. No need to wake her yet! (Sneaking out ice fishing Monday!!!)
