Took the ride on ice from Taj for like 7 or 8MK to somewhere. Fished from before 8:00AM all the way to after 6:00PM. Though didn't mark too many fish (like marking one fish once every half an hour or even over one full hour), each fish caught is a real quality one, either a true jubmo or nice keeper, There were no dinks whatsoever. The biggest one I caught weighs 1 lb 13 oz which I think is my personal best on Simcoe perch.

It was a beautiful and perfect day (warm with no wind) on ice.

At least yesterday (Wed, March 27) I didn't see any issue

Thanks for the report - great day!

The weather this week was stellar for being on the ice. I actually got a nasty sunburn on Tuesday sittin' on my bucket.

I found the same as James, given the depth and their temperament right now, a finder is useless.

Seems the fish are still in the area but the bite has slowed after peaking late last week.

Nice work James I saw Taj drop you off he came by right after he dropped you off. Wanted to come see but it was to busy that way. When you moved you went one way and I went the opposite way away from the crowd.

It's a shame when everyone thinks they have to fish there because they heard it was a good place was a zoo. Same as willow was a few days ago when people posted about it. I surely am not a crowd follower and would of prefer my other spots. People have filled there pails with jumbos all around the lake without anyone around the past few days. That's where I would rather be, not out with 100 people who has to go because other are catching good fish. Last week was only a couple of guys now you can't even find parking the internet is probably the number one problem. That's why willow was so packed on Monday aswell . I have driven all up this side of the lake a dozen times in the past week. Trust me when I say the internet is killing our spots. Some people only want to be on the hottest fishing, well sooner or later that spot wont produce anymore from the pressure.

James you should of been there last year week the fishing was way better without the extra 100 people. Sorry to hi Jack your thread with a complaint not really a complaint just the truth everyone from willow also went there. And no I don't fish willow I'd rather fish in the peace with only a couple people around better fishing then.

Anyway enough of that I let all my jumbo go and kept enough medium fish for breakfast. Awesome work on the pb.

I wasn't going to comment but this "entitled" behaviour boils my blood, "our spots", really? and who leased the spots to you?

Lets "burn" all the hot spots! How dare "they" to keep them quiet? Care to start?
