I am thinking about getting this unit. Sounds like the sonar is pretty good for ice fishing. But does anyone know if the GPS is reasonably decent and if there are ports to be able to download your tracks into Garmin's software?

is CT now doing surge pricing like Amazon? Just pulled up that echomap and it shows as 299.98 not 199.98. I was going to buy at 200 to not be swapping one of my lowrances back and forth between trolling motor and kayak, think I will pass at 300.

It's a clearance item I find the price is different from store to store. Here in Barrie it's 399

AH, makes sense. The same sale wording but different price made me forget the different prices from different stores, thanks guys! Happy birthday to me it looks like.

Mine is supposed to ship tomorrow. If it comes real fast I could have it installed and on it's maiden voyage for my first planned open water trip of the season this Friday and be able to provide feedback after that
I'm thinking this will be my dedicated kayak finder and I will keep the Laurence elite4s on my Fury, one at the tiller and one on the trolling motor.

waiting to hear what you guys who buy that unit think. I striker 4 was what I was looking at - the price is lower even compared to the sale price of the other unit. But may wait to see what you guys find with that other unit.
