Folks,
I heard there are some nice big cats in the Grand at Dunnville. Apparently they come up from the lake to spawn this time of year. Has anyone fished there yet this spring? There must be a lot of water in the Grand this time of year.
Was debating going down there in a couple of weeks for fun.

Yea not sure if a few weeks would be any good . You know how it is they only run for so long and they are already on. Never fished there before, but if I was it would of been now or or last week . Who knows they could stick around for awhile like I said never been . I just know most runs are a timing thing if you plan fishing from shore.

They are in the river to feed this early in the season, not for spawning so the run lasts longer than you might think. There are always Channel Cats in the river, just more of them this time of the year (and bigger too usually!)
