Just an FYI to all you North Bay'ites out there...yesterday I saw the shadflies emerging from the lake...one by one they came up from the bottom. Not long now and they will be out in full force. We likely have a few days left of the "easy" bite for walleye...then it will be slim picking to say the least.

Time to dig out the braided line and heavy rod...go for some hogs in the cabbage!
