Years ago parents used to put "stupid strings" on theirs kids mitts so they wouldn't lose them, (the mitts not the kids). I think it would have a real healthy application here provided one end was tied to the phone and the other end to something capable of being trusted with an expensive device.

I can relate. Although I'll have to admit having it on your lap over or near the hole... a little bit more rookiish than my slipped phone the same results.

Hahaha
Yeah it sucks for sure I lost one at the beginning of March down the hole. Was fishing with one of my kids at the ms derby she immediately laughed and oh mom going to p##### then laughed some more. Only the 3rd one I've lost to the water it's not that horrible things happen it's ok. They are fully replaceable 😁😉 I have huge collection of phones I can break the faster then anyone I know. Got a full warranty on this one as long has I still have the phone 🤣

Before there were cell phones, a friend of mine went to use the outhouse at his camp and his wallet fell out of his pants and went right down the hole.

3, you must be a sucker for punishment. I thought kayaks had those little waterproof compartments for safe storage. After the first loss, I don't think I'd admit to loosing 2 more.

I know how he (Victor) lost his 3 cellphones.
Last year on Scugog he lost two (2) cellphones at the very same time when his kayak flipped.
And a week ago while ice fishing on Lake Joe together with me, he lost another one down the hole.
