I have never seen so many bows with gill lice as I have this year. I did a google search and its pretty apparent that its an invasive specie to add to the list.
The really bad news is that once a bow has the lice its a huge mortality rate. Im not sure if the ministry has any clue about this but hopefully, if the very few atlantics that have survived these last few years we may see the ministry getting involved with there pet project for some sort of cure.

I truly believe that the MNR wont do anything as they want nothing in Lake O except atlantics, and any other "native" specie. As far as they are concerned it would be a blessing from heaven
