I have actually witnessed 2 people fishing in the west arm, one was on shore and was told he might not want to do that as its illegal, the other was in a boat, oblivious to anything just casting and drifting right on down the shoreline.

you are absolutely correct fishmagnet, here is a broader sense of whats really going on, as you can see north of us is still in iceberg mode. this was yesterday, the most troubling part of this is the water level ALREADY, remember we are the watershed for the temagami area, things are going to get worse before they get better, that doesn't even include the heavy rain warnings upon us.
