ok so.... who is going fishing this weekend and where?

I will be at my favourite spots on the West Arm and West bay looking for pike with a little walleye fishing in the evenings.

good luck to everyone wetting a line! the time is almost here!

lady Nip is a beautiful place and she's almost open to fish!

I hope everyone hits good action during the opener and updates this thread with posts of their success for those of us who have a few more days to countdown to hitting the water beyond this weekend. I am heading up mid-week next week with a bunch of dads and our teenage sons so we are hoping the pike action is good. Good luck to everyone fortunate enough to get out on the water this weekend for the opener.

Were almost ready for an hour countdown here! 😩😩😩.

I’m headed up to the upper French, a buddy and I are going to find an island somewhere out by dokis and set up camp for the long weekend. I’m not happy about the weather forecast though! Haha.

Hoping to limit out and shore lunch on some pike, walleye and I’ll take some perch if they’re biting. I’m coming up from Hamilton tomorrow after a double shift at around midnight, 1am. Weekend warrior styles 😎.

Very informative forum/thread, loving it! I’m wishing everyone out there a productive and safe opening weekend. Don’t forget to post your catch, let’s see those beauties!

Best of luck!

Great contributions by all that's what's made it epic! Good luck all! Gp226 you are a brave soul, best of luck! I admire your courage to brave the cold and wet "off the grid"

I need waders to get on my dock! Insane! My boat is homeless!! Lol

Wow, a Moe-z- in reference, that brings back memories.... Tight lines, good luck to everyone. I will have to live this season vicariously through your posts as I won’t be back to the nip until next year....
