Got Thursday off work. Planning on Heading out for some Pike in Zone 17. I know of a spot with warmer temps that most other Zone 17 Lakes which means the Pike (in theory) should be more active and willing to eat for Pre-Spawn Phase.

Anyone want to join let me know. Plan on launch early morning. Weather and winds look good for Thurs.
Attached is the wind forecast for my desired location.

Any luck getting out today? Started cold, but warmed up later in the day.

Day started out Beautiful with dead calm conditions.
I trolled around outside the Harbour in hopes of some Trout but nothing. I did have a hit, but when I grabbed the rod nothing was there.

Fished around in the Harbour after. Water was very stained with terrible visibility.

I hoped into a monster that I fought for 15 min and when it got to the boat took a run and my wire leader snapped. It was tangled in his teeth. It was a PB and I was crushed after.

Water is still cold. Warmest I found was 46.8F
