Weather was great Today!, had some 14 year veterans out

What a great change in the weather after days of high winds and rains


Got my group out on same date as last 14 years and we had a blast...except for me losing 2 of my favourites lures to bite offs..a very rare thing for me, but today the salmon were just gorging themselves on alewives. And some of the largest I have seen in some years. there were 3 year classes of alewives.good to see


I thought I got a photo of 1 really large one, but I can't find it.


Anyhow just a few pics of a fun day with 9 in the box for 15 or more on... Also saw diferent year classes for the salmon as well.all good

Looks like the weather will keep me off for next 3 days again …..grrrr

Great job man! I hate losing lures, they always seem to change up the spoons too, the good ones are like gold out there!

You are so right as the ones lost were a limited color pattern and not made anymore....hurts


but, we got a good selection nonetheless

@ metalbuckle…….yes, there were a few fatties with 4 to 8 alewives in the belly


I got up early today just in case the weather was wrong and we could get out...not happening


gives me a chance to go get some stuff for Mother's Day
