Lake Ontario May 18, thanks Long Shank

Not a great day for catching today,but a great day for fishing. we had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful day on the water. We landed 2 and missed one at the boat, which made for some laughs at the time and on the way home.

Again Long Shank thank you, we all had a lot of fun. Was great to meet you as well. The other guys all said you were a standup guy.

Honestly, we had discussed that it might be a tough day of fishing as yesterday was an indicator for me with that fly hatch reaching epic proportions.

what we have now is too much of the same colored water, same temps and lots of food...we saw fish in 30-110 fow at every depth so putting out an effective spread was a challenge.

kudos to you all for hanging in and we had some great conversations


I am blaming the blue moon and where did those ne kickers come from cause it suddenly got pretty cold out there....

I also had a good laugh when that leadcore fired off and your buddy kept looking at the line counter and yelling... I am losing this fight when it past the 600 foot mark......it did do 3 great runs and he did a great job of finally getting it within net range


of course I wish the day was better, but this happens on rare occasions, so again thanks for coming out and that offer stands for the season


I hope to meet you all on ice again next winter...that would be fun
