2019 Spring Steelhead Report

World Record Trout Group: Moderators Posts: 10252 Member No.: 2 Joined: February 09, 2011	Hi Folks, OK I am done with the rivers for this spring 2019 steelheading adventures.. Will be getting the boat ready soon... Overall it was a great season with good runs in the systems I fished. I was constantly plagued with high and muddy waters, but I adapted my techniques and locations (actually fishing some new waters), where I found fishable sections and trout willing to bite. Many size classes of fish were caught which was good to see, 1-2 lbs and a few larger fish 10lb+. The best performing bait colours were chartreuse, pink and orange.
