Good morning everyone. I have a group of 4 headed to the Upper French River on Saturday for our annual trip. Obviously, I'm aware of the current situation up there, however I'm curious if anyone has been on the river and can report on the ability to navigate the waters? Is there floating debris everywhere? Is it even navigable? Is there noticeable current? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, and hope everyone is staying safe up there!

there isn't floating debris everywhere but you should still be mindful that its possible to run across some, the water is navigable however pay attention to depths, what was 2 feet above the water is now not visable until you are on it. and yes there is definitely noticeable current. hope this helps.
good luck and stay safe

Thanks for the quick reply. Fortunately, we know the river quite well. It's good to hear that the debris is not everywhere. Best of luck to you this season and stay safe!
