We hit the dock at noon as per arrangements, the sun came out and winds picked up strong and we all had a great feast of some salmon and a lot of great bbq steaks with the works
It was a good day with multiple sizes and only 2 colors of spoons firing for me on two rods
It's an annual outing and this was year 5 or 6 I can't remember, but looking forward to the same next year

Well done once again under less than ideal circumstances. I know how much you look forward to this outing, glad it went well for you. And why not indeed, Shank the fishing machine.

Thanks folks and it was fun
Steve, we fund some water holding fish as well as flies , but that made me feel very comfortable on heading back there the next morning and they were still there
I rescheduled today with a board member due to lack of wind which normally be awesome conditions to fish in, but I know it will also be epic for those flies yet again and I believe that you just cannot have fun in that anymore this year. they have to finish up soon I hope
Anyhow right now you can get fish deep like 80-120 down or shallow as always 30-55 feet. Surface temps are up to 57 in certain spots and current is out there for sure. there is also some nasty debris still out there so be carefull
I see guys ripping it at full throttle totally unaware of the size of stuff just below water line
Natural colored baits have been doing the job, but a funky color is always a good idea also
