I like fishing for bass with senkos, or similar, because they work well. What bothers me though is that they are quite easy to lose. That prob means that a fish either has swallowed that plastic or will swallow it in the future. From reading online I know that most, if not all, users tend to lose quite a few baits. Comments? Solutions, other than stop using them?
any o ring tool should work, you can also try to use different materials like elaztech to keep them from ripping, when they start to rip you can stop using them and repair them after for another day, or cut in half and use them for the ned rig. A buddy I used to work with always took a layoff to ice fish for lakers he would catch hundreds he always said half of the lakers he harvested had plastic worms in them.
Or you can use Zman Neds rigs, they are elastic so they last longer than regular worms....still makes me feel like I am throwing garbage in the lake/river though.
there are others if you do a careful google search. I have found that most do not have action as good as a plastic senko but are ok-ish.

I use O rings too. I run the hook through the worm and the ring - I find I can catch multiple fish before the worm gets too beat up. I get the odd small one, or sunfish that will pull the worm off, but for the most part, the rings work well.
I like the idea of these biodegradable plastics - I'll be checking them out.
