HELP, need advice for Aug fishing

I will be at McRae Point from Aug11 to Aug15 and I hope to fish the entire time. If anyone could provide advice I would appreciate it. I will travel to get to the spots, I just need to know where they are. I've never caught a lrg mouth or lake trout and would love to. I'd like to catch some smallmouths too but i think i can find those. Also, what's the best spot to rent a (small - 1 person) boat? Any help with any of that would be greatly appreciated. I'll take advice on bait/methods as well. Gimme all you got!! I can't wait to get their!

Blue beacon marine at the atherley narrows rents boats. I'm not familiar with that end of the lake fishing wise.

At least you will have a week to find them.....
