Hope everyone is having an awesome summer and keeping their lines tight! Picked up a used Bradley a little while back and been kicking myself since for not pulling the trigger earlier. What a difference from my old charcoal one which was a chore and a half. Was talking to a buddy of mine and he told me a friend of his smoked some bass years ago and it turned out really good so I figure I'd give it a try. First step was to get some bass but kept on getting some nice perch and rock bass instead. Finally started boating some smallies but they all went back to the drink as they were all pretty small except for 2 guys that had gills full of crankbait treble. Last fish of the day was about a 2lbs bass. All in all 21 fish came home with me. 3 hours to clean and fillet, 18 hours brining, 6 hours of air drying and after 4 hours of smoking low and slow it was done. Turned out really good. I actually prefer it over the whitefish.
