Believe it or not, that is probably legal. Doesn't look like there is a motor and those trucks are designed for 5th wheels. The towing rule of thumb is 15% trailer weight should be on the tongue. Quick google search suggests those trucks are rated for 6000kg and 15% of that is 900kg or about 2000 lbs. So if the boat is properly secured, he is under the max height and under his max payload technically he is legal. LOL. But I certainly wouldn't be hauling anything like that.

I pray there is a 'crane' in his immediate future. While the truck looks substantial enough to carry the load and I suspect he has a strong metal frame above the truck bed. That said... he's still nuts!
Like mentioned above, drive slow, windows up on launch...lol.

Looking at the right side squat of the rear end tends to make me believe that there's a lot of weight up there. One unexpected evasive maneuver and it will roll. Pretty sure that it has an inboard by the looks.

Though it does look like that suspension is pretty stressed. One thing to be towing, but how much weight can the roof take? I'd hate to be anywhere near him if he has to stop all of a sudden! Incoming projectile
