Fishing tournament has 96% mortality rate for SMB

Yup. Nevermind if the fish even live through the event, you think they're going to make it back where they were caught? Some of those guys in tournaments are making 100km runs with livewells full of fish. No reason not to have live release with a marshall on each boat. It's 2019 folks, get with the times.

This is a great idea. It should be made mandatory for all tournaments. Hard to come up with a good reason not to if we have the fisheries best interest at heart.

Theres not exactly a podium or audience in stands at most club events. People will chat up while trailoring their boats.Though i'm not sure who would want to marshall an evemt without being paid and smaller clubs usually have amaller boats so 3 people would suck as well in most boats.
