How windy is to windy for lake simcoe in 12 foot boat

Depends on where you are on the lake and the direction of the wind. Eg if you were sitting at the end of Kemp in front of the Barrie dock and there was a 15-20 k wind out of the west no problem. Yet sitting on the east end of the lake in the same wind speed and direction you would be screwed.
