I saw an episode of Fish N Canada last week that was filmed at this lake, then I passed it on the way to Weslemkoon this past weekend. Has anyone fished this lake recently? Is the population of bass similar to Weslemkoon? Has anyone had any luck there? I'm considering it for a weekend trip to Bancroft for the fall. Thanks in advance.

Only fished it once in my life and that was over 20 years ago in a canoe.
The structure is amazing and some really big bags come out of there in the fall.

No idea what they're using or where guys go to get them but its definitely a fall lake so if you find em you'll likely find more.

Good luck

Rented a cottage there a few years ago with the fam. Using a downrigger we managed to catch a bunch of small lake trout. We found a few areas with sunken logs and caught some nice larrys.

Definitely worth a go. Its been a while since I was there but the bass fishing was good. Not quite as good as weslem but not far behind. It has lots of structure and lots of docks. I don't think you will be disappointed. Let us know how it goes, I have been bugging matt to hold a tourny there in the future.

I’ve been a few times 2 from a buddy’s cottage and once in a 12’ jon with electric... anyways I’ve done well there late summer good numbers but I didn’t achieve a personal best. It did feel a bit pressured on the weekend but I bet come fall the bigger Bass will be biting😜 not hard to find structure either👍

Great Lake with lots of tournaments, you need a 20 plus bag to place most times.
