I've been out the past few weekends on lower Pigon trying to figure it out. Lost two muskie, and have had a couple +3Lb Large mouth. But for the hours i've been putting in it seems a little slow, how are you guys doing? Any luck?

You should try the northern end its deeper has more types of structure . You will do better on Muskies and Smallmouth . Good luck when you get enough posts send me a PM I can help some .

25 hp is enough as long as its not real windy . You don't have to go the whole way up there are several good areas near Grenadier Island and the bottom of Big Island .

Thanks! I only have a 25 four stroke so the trip to the north takes a while going 25mph.
Hey Kingsmore, not sure what your schedule is like but I can join you one day and take you to the hotspots and we can launch closer to the North End if needed.
I know that lake pretty well now, thanks to Hank Jr.

I’ve made it from Buckhorn to top end of Pigeon in a tinny with a 9.9. When there’s a will, there’s a way! Just enjoy the cruise and pick the right day with minimal wind. Pigeon can get real nasty in the wind.

It's been such a windy year too! Had a few days where the wind kept my 23' stuck in the marina on Sturgeon. I miss keeping the boat on the North end of Pigeon, where we had lots of places to get away from the wind!
