I have two trolling motor batteries that are ready to be replaced. Who takes them back and do they still give cash back? I don't think I'll bother getting a replacement until next year. Thanks.

When you buy the battery you pay a 'deposit' or a 'disposal fee'. When you buy another battery and you return your old battery they return that deposit/disposal fee. It's usually $10-$15 for car batteries. You can also take your old battery to a metal recycling facility such as Combined Metals and they will pay you for it. They will pay you about the same for your battery as if you returned it with a new purchase.

Hope that helps

Be careful with that. A lot of recyclers will only offer you 75 cents as opposed to $10 to $15 for a battery. Lots of sheisters out there.
