Well it's been forever since I posted or I have got the boat wet, in fact I had to review my notes on how to fish. The wife and I determined to get out at least once were going for it. At the launch for 6 am and not a parking spot to be seen. Weather guy said 6km south winds not a chance it was whitecaps all around. Regardless, we got our lines down by 7 as we headed for our marks, and it wasn't that long after we had a knock off, then another and another, finally a hook up, sorry short lived. Time to review our notes again and get back at it. Bang another hook up, this time it somehow got wrapped around the second line and shes gone. Back at it once again and determined to get something we set out again finally fish on, and fish in the net. A wonderful perfect rainbow. Off the water by noon, the harbour master said we were really lucky as most boats came in empty. It was great to get out even if we were tossed around and loss more than landing.

Sounds like a win to me Beautiful rainbow too. I haven't got one since spring time was it cought down 22-25 feet from the surface by chance? I've been marking alot up there but have been fishing way below that depth.

With all due respect for it being "salmon" season and this might be somewhat sacrilegious to some,..... That's a million dollar rainbow! I'll give it up to salmon respectful of their fight, but for table fare, you can't beat a rainbow!

Hey Robert well done!
I got caught up around here today after a 4 days away in the USA at a fiddle and square dance weekend.
Now if the winds and weather will co-operate, I can get out. Heard from my auto parts guy today, the trailer wheel grease seal I need is in and I can get that changed.
