Hi All,

Most of my experience fishing Lake Simcoe has been for hard water perch (walking and Casey's) and summer bass/pike.

Looking at all the great posts here of the trout caught has given me motivation to try and get one of these amazing monsters. I've only caught them in rivers off Lake Ontario before. I need a change of diet from perch tacos to smoked trout.

I don't have a boat (yet) so I'm looking for a recommendation of a boat rental shop that would put me close to trout grounds/depths.

BTW...Love this forum. What an awesome community of great people with love for fishing. (and great way to hide from wives/husbands) LOL
