After the good day out on Friday, I decided over the weekend the head out again today.
In total, I phoned 5 of my fishing friends to see if anyone wanted to come along, but everyone was busy, so it was a solo trip.
I was on the water by 7:30 on a cool but nice day and by 8:15 I had a 2.5lb rainbow in the boat, caught on my green ladderback Lyman. I thought this bodes well.
While I was marking a lot of fish, it was nowhere near the number of fish we marked on Friday.
I caught the rainbow in the same area where we picked up the 3 fish on Friday and while I hung out there for a while , I eventually started trolling South in zig-zagging in 80 to 110fow. I was trying Lymans, spoons, cheaters, flashers, trying to get something to work.
Eventually I worked my way back North to where I had caught the rainbow--I had set a waypoint on Friday. I had a good hit and had the fish on for 5 or 10 seconds, when I had the Shoehorn Wonder Bread down , but I was also running an NK28 blue/silver on the slider and I'm not sure which lure the fish hit.
Stayed in the area and had another good hit and once again gone after 5 or 10 seconds. This one came when I had a blue/silver flasher on and a blue/silver Williams Wobbler running 4ft behind it.
The wind got up around 1:30, so I called it a day. Talked to one other fisherman and he had a salmon and a rainbow. Not many boats out.

Good report, I managed to get out with my two sons between 5pm-7pm after school. We decided to try going shallower and went to 45-60 fow towards where you were on Friday. Marked a ton of bait and lots of fish at those depths. We got a good salmon 8 pounds maybe at 6 pm on a gateway to heaven bestlureco plug. I was trying to get my youngest to reel it in but he was too afraid it would pull him in. Was very silver still and the meat was nice and pink. Only saw a couple of other boats as well.
