Hello folks,

Managed to bend one of the blades on my prop today.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to go for replacement?

This is my 4th summer with the original prop. What is your typical life expectancy for a propeller? (I realize the boat operator plays a large part in this!)

Thanks!

It depends on where you're located.

In the Kawartha area, I've worked with The Prop Drop on Hwy 35 just south of Lindsay.

In Mississauga, I've worked with Citywide Propeller Repair on Drew Rd north of the 401.

In Markham, I've worked with Central Outboard on Woodbine just north of Hwy 7.

All three locations have given me very good information and service.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Goshawk!

I'm on the west side of Simcoe. I was thinking more of internet options, but I may just pop into Citywide this week, as work takes me to Mississauga.

I got my adapter and Quicksilver prop for my 30hp Mariner off Amazon. Adapter was $27 and the prop was $86. All you need to know is what diameter and pitch you want to run. Bass pro was $280 for both.

There's United Propeller and Machine in Orillia and King's Propeller in Honey Harbour. Both could repair or replace your prop.

If its just a regular aluminum prop i would just replace it. A wrench and 10 mins.
