Well, what do I say. Good company. good fishing and so so weather.
Italy just couldn't seem to get it's act together today. Kept asking what lures to use? What do you think I told him?
The rule on my boat is that we take turns on the rods after the first fish is caught. I got the first, so Jerry takes the next rod to fire. All 3 fish came on my rod, 2 on the green ladderback Lyman and the other on a Shoehorn wonder bread spoon. My best 2 lures for fishing out of Collingwood. Marked most of the fish in 70-100fow
WE ran cheaters a lot of the day, but no takers higher up, despite marking fish in the upper half of the water column. We marked all kinds of fish, but only the 3 committed suicide. While it was a damp day out there, we had the top up and our rain suits on, so we were warm and dry.
Just checked my trailer wheel and it looks like the grease/dust seal leak is fixed. No sign of grease being thrown.
Jerry, thanks for joining me today--fun day.
Start thinking about your tactics for next year.
SDC
PS The Bradley will be in action tomorrow. Just going to fillet the fish now and then into the "Indian Candy" dry cure.

Yup Italy had a rough day today..
LOL...
For those wondering about the difference bwt the Lymans and other similar plug.. YUP the Lyman catches fish! The other... Doesn't.... J/K
But I did try my wonderbread j-plug, and ran it side by side the Lymans, and it has different action. The j-plug has a tighter wobble.. The fish today wanted the erratic wobble.
Experience won today and the English had the hotter lures and bigger tackle box..
Always a great time getting out with you.. Thanks again for the invite..
Also great to see Grampa and Myles today..
Jam1324, sorry we didn't get to meet up, I was late arriving..
It was a tough day, as stated, marked lots of fish, but very few wanted to play...

No worries Metalbuckle, I had to be off the water by 10 am to get to work for 8 am or else I would have hung around longer at the launch! I am sure we will cross paths eventually!
