For those of you who have been around the Forum for a few years, you know that Jerry (Metalbuckle) and I have a tradition of going to either Lake Simcoe or GB, to fish together with some friendly rivalry.
My English heritage against his Italian heritage.
It has taken us a while this year to get our schedules together and the weather to co-operate, but it is going to happen this Friday.
As usual we shall be doing live broadcasts from the Lake, giving you current and up-to-date action.
We plan to launch out of Collingwood around 7AM and we shall be in my 16ft Legend, top up and a big green landing net stuck up on the drivers side.
Last year, Nuclear and Steelheader came in their boat as did Grampa in his boat. It was good day last year as all 3 boats were into fish.
Once again, any other Forum members are welcome to come on out and share the experience.
Jerry and I are looking forward to it. It should be a fun day.

Check weather forecast -- it changed for Friday: wet for the morning and winds up a bit. 14oC and wet may not be enjoyable! Just say'n. After lunch things are supposed to clear.

Hi N007
Thanks for the input and I suspect you are looking at The Weather Network forecast, which in my experience is the least reliable.
When I look at Wind Finder, Sail Flow and Accu-Weather, they all show a similar forecast and much more favourable than TWN. When I'm planning to go out, Wind Finder is may favourite and I find them to be the most accurate, especially if I find the other 2 agree with them.

I agree and also do the cross-compare. It is the "weather radar" shot that appears to back up the rain -- with a large system coming across from Michigan. Windy.com showed the same pattern. (???) I passed this along as information available. Everyone's personal choice. Good luck if you go.
