Hi Folks,
Made it out fishing a few times in August. Usually fishing is slow during the August dog days, but as everyone has said, this is a strange year and everything is behind. I was pleasantly surprised to find the fishing quite good and got into some decent fish, without excessive hard work.. Those of us who do it regularly, know it can be a grind sometimes and I even question why I do it, when I see people going by in Seadoos, Water Skiing and Tubing - having fun, while I sweat... LOL..
But once you hook up, it's all worth it..
Well here you go, some fish from the past few weeks..

Thanks for the report and pictures looks like you caught them all but no Muskie pictures . We come late Sept early Oct because my son hates them water skiers and Ski Do's . Good luck.

Good job on the catching especially the walleye..what did you get the eye on ? Cheers Dave..
Got 2 actually, that was the bigger of the two. White spinner bait over a weed bed in the early am. Both eyes came out of the weeds in about 7 fow and smashed it.. Both released as well. That one was over slot by a couple inches and the other one was in slot, but not interested in keeping just one fish..

Haven't had a chance to get out and specifically target muskies yet, this year. Hoping to give it a go, this Sept and Oct. Good luck to you and hopefully the big girls are biting..

Some great fish Jerry! I think you made it out more times than me this year, just been so hectic have barely had a chance to get out. Thanks for the posts and letting me live vicariously through you.
