Hi all,
last year was my first year fly fishing and I a couple places with success like the Ganaraska, Duffins creek and a couple other local spots to the GTA.
Landed a ton of salmon, looking to try the Goergian bay tributeries. Would really like to catch some trout (rainbow or brook) and salmon.
I have google mapped a few spots I see shallow water, but don't know anyone in the area to let me know if the salmon are running or if I can target rainbow trout.
Any suggestions on general areas, times and lures are much appreciated

I know the salmon are itching to run and I bet every time we get some rain more and more will be slipping up the rivers. I don't have any river fishing experience but from being out on the open water around here I know at least those two things.

I'm certain I can get something if the fish are running in the Notty.
The Saugeen river is a bit of a ways would have to make a weekend of it and find a place to stay...do you have any recommendations for places? Would be me and the wife for next weekend.
