Looking at cottages on this lake.

Anyone have any thoughts on how the fishing is?

Hello,

While I don't know the lake, Adventure Fishing Maps says that there is a lot of cover for the major fish species including reeds, weed beds, lily pads, submerged logs and stumps. There are also 5 streams flowing into the lake; those would be key areas to start for me.

I can tell you the following about the creek heading south of the dam in the lake;

The current Ontario fishing regulations show that the Nogies Creek fish sanctuary is closed all year to fishing. The sanctuary is from the Bass Lake dam to the Nogies Creek dam.

The entire stretch of Nogies Creek between the two dams is considered as the fish sanctuary and is closed all year.

Sanctuary signs are posted at the dams, access point and bridge sites along the Bass Lake Road to help identify the closed area.
