I'm getting to the point that I'm ready to give up on chasing bass, getting those rods/reels ready for my Florida trip next month, and start the crappie chase. I was just wondering if they have moved into Cook's shallows yet or are they still in deep water. I'm not asking for specifics, just wondering where to start the search. Any help would be appreciated.

I can only find them in the winter time in numbers. Caught a few trolling for pike in about 14ft of water this summer but they were not schooled up. Good luck.

I was out last Saturday perching but saw people catching some crappies. They are hard to find but a bunch of boats in one area is not, especially on the weekend.
