Day one at Bear Creek Cottages. Got out on the Ice at 2pm. Landed 4 walleye and 3 perch biggest walleye at 16 inches and biggest perch st 10 inches. More to follow....

Day 2. 18 walleye landed 17" being the biggest. A few more perch and one burbot. Still looking for that keeper. The weather today was great. Action in the hut was better than outside the hut. Small jig heads with lively minnows sew what's working best.

Three more sleeps and our group of six from shelburne will be making our yearly trip out with SSIC . Always great hosts and a good time . Last year Kokemachine cast a fish spell on us but it only lasted two hours till the wind blew the spell away . This year koke if you read this we would like the spell to last two days
