Day 2. 18 walleye landed 17" being the biggest. A few more perch and one burbot. Still looking for that keeper. The weather today was great. Action in the hut was better than outside the hut. Small jig heads with lively minnows sew what's working best.

Good stuff Chuck ! Near 20 eyes for the day is a good day. Keep it going bro.

Day 3 was much slower. 1 burbot 3 walleye( no keepers) and 5 perch. One more day left on the trip. We've been having a blast and the service here at Bear Creek Cottages has been top notch.

Good luck on your last day, hopefully you will see a keeper or two today. Did you guys keep the burbot for a fish fry?

Good to hear you are having a blast and that the Bear Creek crew is taking care of you, ask Shawn to show you the pictures of the big sturgeon they caught up there next time you see him.

Tight lines

Nice trip Chuck !

Thanks Kerry. Today was very slow. We landed 3 more eyes and a perch the other group with us landed 1 eye and 1 pike. Four days on the ice, the first 2 days were solid the next 2 we had to really work for them. Did some venturing out from the hut today but the winds were wild. Work an area from 28 fow to 19 fow with very few fish marked and only a couple follows. All in all we had an excellent trip and the staff at Bear Creek Cottages has been great.
