I'm in Leaskdale just north of Uxbridge.

We are using RuralWave as our provider and they are OK. There is a definite lag between the hours of 7-9PM most nights. We have a small dish on our antenna that picks up the signal from a source somewhere to our South east.

They are not the cheapest, but there isn't a whole lot of choice up in this neck of the woods. There was a new company that was trying to get started up this way. They have towers in Zephyr and Sandford and are looking to put one up around here. Having heard anything since the late Spring as to what is going on.

Good luck.

I have a buddy that used to work for rural wave but doesn't anymore. When he worked for them he had very high praise for the company... Some reviews on Google say otherwise though. I hope you find something that works for you.

If you can get line of site you are better off than satellite. I have xplornet and it's weather dependent and costs a lot for what you get.
