any reports of perch being caught off the piers of any of the port communities ,the ones you can get near ? thanks

Two weeks ago the mudcats were on fire
I took my daughter down here in Hamilton between the launch and the tugboat at a spot I’ve marked from hardwater.
Was literally a fish every minute after nine pm.

Been down in the last two weeks solo late at night off the piers and nothing.
Used cranks and minnows with no luck but maybe during the day perch would be in. I was seeing if the eyes are in
