Then I left to go to Toronto after dinner, and between the waterdown road exit/brant street exit was a massive crash. Had lanes blocked on both sides of the highway, nothing even stuck it was basically rain at that point... hope everyone was ok, multiple vehicles and the one between the medians looked like it was missing most of the front end.

Its not going to be a fun drive into Toronto... Been stuck in traffic behind lots of accidents this week, and roads were fine. Today multiply that by 10.
